Jim Scheffler is a top performing originator with 20 years of mortgage lending experience in various sales positions and executive management roles within the banking and new construction industry. Jim is currently responsible for bank customer origination, business development and cross selling bank services. Prior to his career with Bridgeview, he was an Executive Vice President for LHI Mortgage, Inc.- a subsidiary of the second largest homebuilder in Chicagoland. LHI is a builder owned full service mortgage banking operation and Jim was fundamental in growing the firm from 40mm in annual origination volume to 360mm, while the EVP was awarded the J.D. Power Top Homebuilder Mortgage company 2006 & 2007.

Jim is putting the “community back” in mortgage lending and providing exceptional customer service. He is a relationship builder specializing in loan products for 1st time homebuyer(s), new construction, conventional, jumbo and government loan programs. At Mutual Mortgage, we set the expectations upfront with the objective of exceeding our clients expectations.

Jim’s hobbies include golf, biking and spending time with his beautiful family; his wife Kristen and two daughters Olivia and Sofia.
